Since 2024, I have served as the sole administrator of our company’s Learning Solutions site hosted on Wix. This site houses all department resources and information, including training schedules, process overviews, day-to-day documents, learning requests, continued education opportunities, and team-building materials for the entire company.
My responsibilities include updating content, managing internal and external links, designing pages, troubleshooting site issues, and maintaining a well-organized resource library. I build graphics and page layouts to ensure materials are visually clear and accessible, aligning with the company’s branding and learning goals.
System Management:
Using Wix’s built-in dashboard, I regularly monitor site analytics to track employee engagement and resource utilization. This data informs decisions about site layout, navigation improvements, and prioritization of content updates, ensuring the platform remains user-friendly and relevant to employee needs.
Content Management:
I manage the centralized folder library for all department resources, reviewing and organizing content provided by other teams before uploading it to the site. The site hosts a variety of learning content, including scripts, forms, program overviews, department process documents, and company training videos. I perform daily and weekly updates to keep materials current and to reflect changes in programs or processes.
Communication:
In collaboration with the communications department, I ensure employees are informed of significant updates through company channels, while also building page banners to alert users of recent changes directly on the site. This layered communication strategy keeps the company aligned and aware of available learning resources and process changes.
Collaboration:
I work closely with the Learning and Development team, subject matter experts, HR, and other departments to ensure that content is accurate, timely, and relevant. This collaboration helps align the site’s offerings with the company’s learning strategy and operational goals while supporting ongoing employee development.
Impact and Results:
Through structured management and regular updates, the Learning Solutions site has become a reliable central hub for employees to access learning and department resources. Since managing the site, I have seen increased engagement from employees and a significant decrease in broken or outdated links, reducing confusion and improving the employee experience. By maintaining a clean, organized, and visually engaging platform, I support the company’s commitment to continuous learning and operational excellence.
